Blouse: My mother's, Leggings: Target, Booties: Tahari

Looking over the new Dolce & Gabbana ready-to-wear collection, I was reminded of a certain big shouldered blouse I had seen in my mom's closet. 80's Power Dressing has returned for fall!

What I'm Wearing

Ruffle strap top: J.Crew, Brown tank top: Ambiance, Jeans: Delia's, Cutout Oxfords: Made By Elves, Shell Bracelet: Bought in Tela Mar Beach in Honduras

Wore this outfit to my friends graduation party. Today was the one day of the week in which it didn't rain so I took advantange of the dry weather and wore one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I love the cutout detail on these.

Also if you haven't already picked up the July issue of Lucky Magazine. Everything in the issue is under $100 from dresses and jeans to shoes, bags, jewelery and makeup. Cheap and Chic!

Summer time and the livin's easy

1. Rainbow flip flops- the most comfortable, durable leather flip flops ever. Available in a variety of styles and colors Rainbows have arch support and mold to your feet. They even come with a warranty, but you probably won't need to use it or have to buy a new pair every year!

2. Summer tote bag- in the summer I need a carry-all that's stylish and functional, cute enough to look great with any outfit, yet strong enough to hold all the gear I lug with me on trips and to the beach. This year I choose on from Coach(only $90 at the factory store!!)

3. Gladiator sandals- as of last year, Roman sandals have become my summer staple. This silver snakeskin leather pair from Nine West is great for traveling: lightweight, easy to pack, and great for walking the streets of NYC or anywhere in comfort and style.

4. Oversized sunglasses- a must have for summer! these Betsey Johnson frames offer 100% UV protection and their large frames protect practically all of my face from the sun's rays. The round lenses offer a mod twist to all my outfits.

5. Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 30 Daily Moisturizer- I never leave the house without putting this on. This moisturizer is so light and doesn't clog my pores or leave a shiny flim on my face. It works great under makeup and gives me the sun protection I need without the messiness of applying sunscreen.

Top of the Class

lace tank: American Eagle, blue tank: Target, skirt: Tracy Feith for Target, neaklace: J. Crew, bag: Dooney & Bourke

Yesterday, I used my brothers graduation as the perfect chance to debut my new Tracy Feith for Target skirt. The material is very good quality and the price was great. Here are some of my favorite pieces in the line:

This collection is perfect for summer with its bright floral skirts and playful dresses. Also, this collection gives everyone a chance to wear the garments of this surf style designer who dressed Michelle Obama for a National Prayer Service in January.

She only sleeps when its raining

One of my summer goals: communicate how I feel about fashion.
More to come. . .
